He has made everything beautiful in its time. Ecclesiastes 3:11
Dear Saint Robert Community,
Our students had a very special assembly today. Our very wonderful San Bruno Firemen were here to present our Fire Safety Poster winners. (please see winners listed in SR NEWS) The Firemen always go over safety measures with the children, and we are very grateful. Go Bears!
As most of you know, our beloved Sr. Ita passed away yesterday. If you would like to pay your respects, a Rosary will be held on Sunday night at 7:00pm and her funeral is planned for Monday at 10:30am at the church with a reception after the funeral in Hennessy Hall. It is a 12:30 dismissal day, so if you are able to walk to school to pick up your child, please make an extra effort to do so. We are going to have to line up dismissal cars around the parked funeral cars. Thank you so much.
There are so many wonderful things happening at Saint Robert this month. Grandparent/Special Persons Day will be Friday the 20th. Please see the schedule below. This is always one of my favorite days, and I hope you feel the same.
The week of the 23rd is Red Ribbon Week. During this week we talk about the need to say NO to drugs. Thank you to Susan McHale for chairing this program. On the 24th we will have our first assembly concerning the Pyramid of Success with Harper for Kids. We are very excited to tell the children more about this special program.
I will have parent teacher conference sign ups out soon. Stay tuned for more information.
